Sitting int the Darkness, Life passing me by

Like a little bit of smoke, fogging up my mind.

Lyrics

I believe the Son will rise

And light the darkened skies

I'm living on the hopes and dreams

And the strength I've got inside

Nothing here weighs heavier on me, than regret

I know that I've been knocked down, don't give up on me yet

I'll be stronger than before

When my soul was skin and bones

Just hangin' on by a thread

They cannot hurt me anymore

Lyrics

Empty

Broken

Abandoned

Abused

Angry

Tired

Shattered

Confused

She feels like a refugee looking for protection

From the fear of a shameful past

Crying out for absolution, no longer and outcast

She cries in the night, I need You to

SAVE ME....

Lyrics

I cry out to God

Deep inside i shout

Oh that you would hear me

I would have no doubt

I searched for the Lord

All night long i prayed

Lift my hands to heaven

This is what I say

I'm Yours

father I'm Yours

A heartfelt examination of conscience and redemption. It is a walk into the soul and a search for deeper meaning and light in a world where corruption, malice, and darkness tries to choke out our decency. Finding strength in the storm and looking for guidance through the maze of life. Plus, it just Rocks!!!! A soulful journey that reminds us of the healing power of good music.

Story

The grief process is a difficult thing to go through when you lose someone you love.  If there were a chance to talk with them and spend time with them one last moment that would last forever.  I experienced the loss of my mother at a very young age and it has had a lasting effect on my life.  In discussing this with Matt Scmidt, who experienced similar feelings after losing his dad... he had started writing this beautiful bluesy song that touched my heart... we got together and finished this piece and ... it says all the things we wish we could...
