Merry Mayan Apocalypse!!! or, Not....

I am not big on conspiracy theories. So this 12/21/12 thing is pretty much lost on me. I saw Y2K come and go and the world didn't end, so I am a bit non-plused about the solar alignment and the planet shifting at the solstice this year according to the Mayans, the E-Ching, Nostradamas, and the History Intl Channel.  Only God knows when it's all going down... so I'm gonna keep it business as usual.

That being said, we are living in perilous times.  Recent events of violence in Connecticut, Chicago, Oregon, Colorado, Detroit, and even in my city Toledo, have led me to believe that even if the focus is not End Times, we need to shift our hearts and minds to love and compassion for one another as human beings... because if we don't, we will be the instruments of our own demise.  My heart sinks for those who have lost loved ones due to violent acts, wars, and evil....May God bless you and bring you a sense of peace and comfort knowing that your loved one suffers no more.  But what do we, who are left do with the time we have left?  Make this world better for each other and for generations to come.  No law passed can give people empathy for one another. No legislation can make anyone kinder.  It is up to each one of us to BE better from within and to outwardly express it. If you want to change the world, start by changing your mind.

This year has taught me some incredibly valuable lessons.  I will share and recap them before year end.  Until then,  Merry Christmas!!  Remember, this season is about the greatest expression of love ever given to the world.  It is about the interconnected family of mankind.  It is about peace, joy, love, and hope.  Though the world we live in may not seem that way, it's our job to reflect that light in the darkness....So Let's Go!!!!

Much Love,

Carmen
