Galatians 6:9 New International Version (NIV) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

This is my absolute favorite Bible verse. It reminds me that we all will face adversity and setbacks from time to time, but in the end... there is victory if you keep going. Sometimes, frustrations with people or situations can feel so heavy and problems can look enormous. You just have to remember that the goal, is greater than the fight.... I don't care if I end up at my finished line battered, scarred, and bloody.... as long as I get there. Plus, please understand that there are a lot of people in this world that have it waaaaay worse. There are some atrocities that we wouldn't last a minute going through. We serve a God that is bringing people through those kind of storms daily.

It is time we stopped praising with a miniature faith.... If we are to be world changers, it's time we put on our Big Boy faith and really made things happen. I can use my gifts to spread a message of love, joy, and hope... but there are so many other missions out there for people whose talents have yet to be tapped into. Dreams yet to be explored... Why? Are you afraid of the struggle it takes to get to the point where you will be effective? Well let me be the first to tell you.... Nope, it is not easy to follow a dream. It's even harder to follow the call of Christ in a world that tends to reject Him. And it is even harder still to get doors to open when you are not willing to compromise your convictions just to gain popularity or access to riches....( so if you're that scared... turn back now and save yourself the trouble)

BUT!!!! if you are willing to fight the good fight and walk the walk.... if you are willing to allow God to have his way in your life... the reward is abundant!!! Joy beyond compare, healing, mercy, grace, compassion, charity, LOVE LOVE and more LOVE!!! Mind you, it's not without its cost... you may lose friends, opportunities, and some stuff just may not go the way you think it should.... Just trust that God's way is better, and it's all good.

Now This is purely what works in my life and what I can speak from with personal experience. I understand that what you believe may not line up with what I believe... that's cool. I have no intent of bashing anybody over the head with a Bible yelling REPENT REPENT!!! I am only sharing from my personal perspective. I must say however, that I do recommend that the verse that began this blog holds true for everyone. Don't give up, and you will make it.
